WHY I BUILD THIS WAY
The Origin
It started with my own business. I run a plumbing business with my partner, Dan. I handle the numbers, he’s on the tools. Telling him his numbers and him actually seeing them turned out to be two different things. So I built the tool to close that gap. That tool is OneTradie. It’s live, it’s used daily, and it’s now expanding to a small group of other tradies testing it for real.

OneTradie is first. It won't be the last.
Before OneTradie, I built OneOS for myself, a system to manage multiple businesses, projects, priorities and the hundreds of things that compete for attention when you’re running things largely on your own.
The thinking behind OneOS became the foundation for OneTradie. Same principle, different problem: understand the business, surface what matters, and help the person running it know what to do next.
OneTradie is the focus now. OneOS is still being built quietly in the background.

This is for the business owner who is tired of doing it alone.
Not the one looking for a shortcut or a pep talk.
The one working seriously, without a safety net, who’s never had software sit beside them and actually carry part of the load, not just store their data and wait to be checked.
The one whose business depends on them for everything. Who’s never had a clear, real-time picture of whether this week actually made money. Who started with a vision and ended up buried in admin, wondering how the two got so far apart.

A business co-pilot for solo tradies. Jobs, quotes, invoicing and money, all in one place, plus a daily briefing that flags what needs attention before it becomes a problem. Built inside a real plumbing business, now in testing with other tradies.
IN PROGRESS
The engine underneath OneTradie, being built to eventually support any solo service business, not just trades. Still early. Right now, it’s just for us.
PROOF OF PRACTICE
I build inside real businesses, not around them.
I co-founded Wakeline Plumbing Solutions in Adelaide, and built the systems that run it: job management, the financial side, the software backbone, before it ever took outside help. OneTradie grew directly out of that.
I’ve also helped my sister build the foundations for LezAnis Activewear in Brazil, the audience and structure in place before a single unit was made.
Neither of these is a case study. They’re real businesses, and what I build gets tested there first, with real money on the line, before it goes anywhere else.

ABOUT PATTI
I build businesses. Then I build the software they actually needed.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, specialising in Organisational Psychology, a Master’s in People Management, and an MBA formally recognised in Australia. I spent years in HR, learning why capable people get stuck inside systems that don’t actually support them.
Then I left Brazil, cleaned construction sites in Adelaide, built a business, closed it, and rebuilt again. Today I run a plumbing company with my partner, help my sister build an activewear brand from the ground up, and build software for solo operators, mostly by myself, with AI as my thinking partner at every stage.
That background is exactly why I build the way I do: software that fits how people actually work, not the other way around.
